Not only can we put the last year behind us and make plans for whats to come, be they new year resolutions, holiday plans, weddings, house moves….we also have the Stampin’Up mini catalogue and Sale-a-bration catalogue to look forward to!
They are both available right now… contact me right now to get one heading your way!
After a hectic Christmas, today was the start of Coffee and a Card for 2020 and we started the year with products from both the mini catalogue and also free products from the sale-a-bration set.
As i said, I have had quite a busy time, so the two cards we made were ‘cased’ from ideas on pinterest. The first by ‘thecraftyscouter.com’, and the second by ‘Lynn Dunn -stamptastic designs.com’
I know several of you have had the old paper trimmer and over the past few months, there have been quality issues with the blades…so bad in fact that Stampin’ Up! discontinued the blades and trimmer.
Well now they have released a brand new trimmer. I have had mine for a month now, and I must say, I love it!! It cuts very cleanly, it still has the option to score and it will cut paper and card upto 17inches or 43cm.
So far i’m on my original blade and it still cuts beautifully.
The grid lines that run the length of the trimmer make lining up your paper a doddle! and no more removable track to fill with fluff!
This is available to order NOW… contact me to get yours for just £23
(Replacement blades will not be available until January 2020)

So, on Tuesday I hosted my first ever workshop. It wasn’t too complicated as we used the lovely ‘Hugs from Shelli’ Paper Pumpkin kit, which had everything you needed to make 12 lovely cards.
10 lovely ladies joined me at my home ( and they had the bonus of seeing my much talked about extension and new kitchen), and we had 2 hrs of crafting fun.
As I mentioned, the kit is designed to make 12 cards, 3 each of 4 designs, and on the afternoon that’s what we set out to make.
But as some had commented that the ‘notecard’ sizes were small compared to what they normally made, I displayed an assortment of cards that I had made, making the cards into larger cards, one of which was almost C5 size.
These are the designs that came with the kit…..
And these are some of the ones I made as alternatives.
Not sure if they will ever release a Paper Pumpkin Kit again in the UK, but I feel another workshop may be needed – whether they do or not!
What a fab time I had…. think everyone who attended did too.
