Hi, all. Hope you’re all keeping safe and well in this difficult time.

My life has changed lots since Covid19 appeared in our world as I’m sure yours has too. But I cant complain…most of my days were spent crafting, whether that was at home or in one of the various craft groups I attended or in the Coffee and a Card group I run and nothing has stopped me still crafting at home and now I’ve pushed myself out of my comfort zone and got out into the big wide world using Facebook Live

If you’ve missed them, just pop onto my Facebook page (the stamping booth) and you can always watch again.

Here are two of the Easter cards I demonstrated on Monday this week,

Easter Bunny

Fabled Friends stamp set

Easter..the Cross

  • Very Versailles stampset
  • Discontinued amazing you stamp set
  • ‘Other’ brand cross

and the third card is another you might wish to try yourself. Details are under the picture.

Easter Greetings

  • Peaceful Poppies
  • Beautiful Bouquet
  • Fabled Friends

Instructions for the Easter Greetings card ;

  • For this card I used an A4 piece of whisper white card as the base cut in half down the length and scored in half.
  • The Crushed Curry layer was made up of plain Crushed Curry card stock measuring 7.5cmx 14.9cm, with a piece of Crushed Curry designer series paper from the regals collection measuring 7cm x 14.4cm glued centrally together.
  • I used the inner of one of the flowers from the Beautiful bouquet set to stamp along both long edges of the card base in Crushed Curry ink and then added the gingham layer it, lining up centrally from the edges.
  • On a piece of Whisper White measuring 9cm x6cm, I stamped the flowers from the Peaceful Poppies set using memento ink. I then coloured the flowers using dark and light Daffodil Delight blends to give a bit of texture.
  • This was then mounted onto a piece of Crushed Curry card measuring 9.5cm x 6.5cm. This whole piece was then attached to the card base using dimensionals.
  • The greeting was from the Fabled Friends stamp set, which was stamped in memento ink and then die cut with the layering ovals dies, as was the scalloped oval in Crushed Curry. These were glued together and then mounted onto the card with dimensionals
